Quality Inn Rosebud Casino

Totally enjoyed my stay. The hotels in valentine were so expensive (and shouldn’t have been) but this rosebud casino was nicer than a few of the really expensive ones in valentine. So glad I drove just a few more miles. Check in was quick and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Everyone was nice and helpful. They had a dart tournament going on. Really cool place. Great food too.

They treated us very well. All three staff we interacted with were friendly, attentive, and helpful. It’s a standard Quality Inn. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool was warm and the kids loved it. Breakfast was a perfectly acceptable Quality Inn hot breakfast. Let me address a few concerns raised by other reviews, now that we’ve stated there: - The hotel is non-smoking, but the casino down the hallway has smoking. If a lot of people in the casino are smoking, you can smell it a bit in the hotel lobby. We couldn’t smell any smoke in our room. It smelled clean our whole stay. - The room was well kept. No bugs or stains of any kind. Sheets were fresh and clean. - There’s always free coffee available, either in the breakfast area or down the hall in the deli.

We had a problem with the room toilet. The staff changed our room with no problem. Easy access to the casino.

It's not fancy but, it's nice. The staff is very nice & friendly. The room was simple, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Also, it was nice and quiet! I like that the room had a f mini fridge & a microwave. There's also a mini coffee maker with tea options. We got in late and ate at the deli, the Indian taco was delicious (highly recommend) and the burger was ok, the wedge fries was tasty. The breakfast in the morning was good! They had a waffle station, fruit, muffins, yogurt, cereals, juices and coffee. I can say it was a pleasant experience.

I was checked in a few minutes early after 10 hours of riding on the way to Sturgis. Staff was nice. Hotel restaurant hit the spot after a day without eating. Bed was clean and comfortable. I had a random ant invasion at 2am but they were only interested in my room keys. Great experience! Will stay again.

This was a great motel. The rooms were very clean. Every worker we spoke to was accommodating and friendly. The ice machine was out of order but the manager went to the kitchen to get me ice two different times when I asked. I would stay here again!

I'm sure the other reviewers had legitimate complaints but our experience was  a decent one. Considering that all of South Dakota and Nebraska seem to be booked out for a rodeo weekend, we were grateful that a room was available somewhere at 8pm. (Granted we are not advanced bookers/planners and more go where the adventure leads people (mostly or all me, not my wife)) The parking lot is off-putting rolling in at 1am (that was the commute time to find a room) but other than that, everything was as advertised and communicated for late check-in over the phone.  The room and bathroom were clean, the linens were fresh and other than the lack of a fan in the bathroom that resulted in steam billowing out into the room and triggering the fire alarm (which works ) the QI kept its end of the bargain.

I needed a place to rest for a couple days and the price to quality ratio was just right. I wasn't looking for the fanciest amenities, just clean, quiet, and friendly. I would encourage anyone staying to check out the on premises Deli. It wasn't heavily advertised, but you can get a tasty hot meal there for a good price just down the hall. When it said deli I thought maybe they'd have a sandwich, it's more like a hot food, made to order counter. I had the breaded chicken salad and cheese balls for dinner, delicious. While they advertise a continental breakfast in the hotel section i had a really good full hot breakfast at the Deli, eggs, sausage, hashbrown, toast, coffee, and a juice for under 10 dollars. It was a steal. It's very clean! People left and within 30 seconds their spots were being sanitized. I will definitely stay here again. Thanks to everyone!
